HOUSING BRUYNINCKX – CREPAIN – NYS
3 semi-identical terraced houses, founded on the same base plan, line of intersection and façade concept. Entirely built in concrete blocks, grey for the interior, pink for the ‘superstructure’ of columns and outer walls in the red-brick street. Split-levels and various ceiling heights for a maximum sense of space and different atmospheres. Sitting area at the left and right hand sides of the front wall, cooking and dining by the garden. In the middle house those areas are positioned the other way round. The glass ridge carries the light down to the living area. At the back, 3 different greenhouses. Living area on the piano nobile, which leads to large terraces connected to a communal garden through an inclined plane.
